Dealer-specific mental math

Make the math automatic.

This trainer is built around the exact PLO calculation you use in class: triple the last bet, then add the betting trail. Your weak facts and slow answers are saved on this computer and recycled more often.

Multiplication foundation

Master tables 2–12 with ordered learning, random recall, speed work, perfect-table tests, and full mixed tests.

PLO dealer math

Train ×3, Triple + Trail, awkward 5-ending numbers, blinds + callers, and realistic POT answers under time pressure.

Mental shortcuts

Split 75 × 3 into 70 × 3 + 5 × 3. Bridge additions to the next hundred instead of counting slowly.

Adaptive weak-number practice

Wrong or slow facts become more likely to return. Multiplication weaknesses also influence PLO number selection.

Mode 2

PLO ×3 Drill

Poker amounts in $5 increments. Numbers ending in 5 are taught by splitting off the 5.
Mode 3

Triple + Trail Drill

One of the core dealer drills: Last Bet × 3 + Betting Trail.
Mode 4

Rapid Fire Dealer Drill

The timer starts the instant the problem appears. Correct answers move on quickly. Wrong answers stop the drill until you review the math.
Mode 5

Progressive Difficulty

Your saved dealer level advances when recent accuracy is at least 90% and average response time is 5 seconds or faster.

Last bets $5–$35, easy trails.

Mode 6

Weak Number Training

This mode pulls from the facts, ×3 bet amounts, and betting trails where you have the highest error rate or slowest responses. If there is not enough history yet, it deliberately favors 5-ending dealer numbers.
Mode 7

Addition / Make 100 Training

Practice awkward poker additions by moving the first number to the next hundred, then adding what remains.
Mode 8

Timed Dealer Test

A mixed test of ×3, Triple + Trail, and dealer-style addition. Your report grades accuracy, speed, and weak areas.
Mode 9

Blinds + Callers Test

Memorize the dealer shortcut from your class: Blinds only = $15, then every caller adds $5.

Cheat Sheets & Mental Shortcuts

Pattern: for a number ending in 5, split off the 5. Example: 85 × 3 = (80 × 3) + (5 × 3) = 240 + 15 = 255.
Bet×3
195 + 85: 195 needs 5 to reach 200. Take 5 from 85, leaving 80. 200 + 80 = 280.
225 + 95: 225 needs 75 to reach 300. Take 75 from 95, leaving 20. 300 + 20 = 320.
Rule: look for the amount needed to reach the next 100. If the second number is large enough, move that amount first, then add the remainder.
POT = Last Bet × 3 + Betting Trail

Example: Last Bet $75, Trail $95.
70 × 3 = 210
5 × 3 = 15
210 + 15 = 225
225 + 95 = 320
POT = $320
×3 ending in 5: remove the 5, triple the round-ten part, then add 15.
Make the next 100: ask “how much gets me to 200 / 300 / 400?” Move that amount first.
Dealer priority: accuracy first, then smooth speed. Repeated correct answers under 5 seconds are the target.
Weak-number rule: anything wrong or slower than your target should return more often until it becomes automatic.
Blinds + Callers shortcut: memorize Blinds only = $15. Every caller adds $5.
